This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in a school-based role that allows a balanced work schedule and focused student interaction. You’ll be providing direct speech and language services for a small caseload—8 to 10 students—split across two half-day sessions each week.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license or eligibility in Minnesota
- Recent experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable developing and implementing IEPs for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide targeted therapy services for students with communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams to support student goals
- Consult with families and staff regarding strategies and progress
