Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Hold a valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Possess New Jersey Department of Education Certification
  • Experienced in school-based SLP settings (SLP – CCC, SLP – CFY, SLP – School) is preferred but all backgrounds considered
  • Strong ability to collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address IEP goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Deliver both direct therapy and indirect consultation services to students, teachers, and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
