Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, valid SLP license in the state of Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) required
- Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both group and individual, in accordance with IEP objectives
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Provide consultative support and resources to instructional staff regarding speech-language strategies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and progress updates
This contract assignment begins as soon as possible, continuing through May 28, 2027, and offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll have the opportunity to positively influence the lives of students while working in a rewarding and supportive school environment.
