This is the perfect role for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives in school environments and is passionate about empowering students to achieve their communication goals. As a valued contributor, you’ll provide essential speech-language interventions, assess students’ needs, collaborate with educators and families, and help children succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP license or willingness to obtain, including OSPI fingerprint clearance
- Completion or willingness to secure a Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Experience supporting K-12 students in educational settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite therapy and intervention services for students with communication disorders
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in student support meetings and facilitate positive team communication
