Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) welcomed, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Experience delivering healthcare, pediatric, or school-based SLP services preferred
  • Solid knowledge of IEP writing, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Compassion, flexibility, and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized IEPs, intervention plans, and therapy goals
  • Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multi-disciplinary teams, and professional development
  • Educate and empower students and their support networks on communication strategies
