Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Immediate start with assignment through June 2027
- Contract opportunity in a supportive educational setting in the Tacoma area
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure in Washington State (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement effective intervention plans tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to a diverse school caseload
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student support
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and progress monitoring
- Provide consultation and resources for staff to facilitate successful inclusion strategies
- Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to student meetings and interventions
