Position Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Immediate start with assignment through June 2027
  • Contract opportunity in a supportive educational setting in the Tacoma area

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure in Washington State (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement effective intervention plans tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to a diverse school caseload
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student support
  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and progress monitoring
  • Provide consultation and resources for staff to facilitate successful inclusion strategies
  • Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to student meetings and interventions
