Support students’ growth as part of a collaborative educational environment serving elementary learners in the greater Lakewood and Tacoma, WA area. This school-based opportunity is available on either a traditional onsite schedule or through remote VOCO options, offering unique flexibility for certified Speech Language Pathologists who are committed to making a difference. This contract position is set from ASAP through June 23, 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40–50 elementary school students within a resource room setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
  • Conduct assessments, track progress, and communicate outcomes to families and teaching staff.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support teams, and families to facilitate best learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state, federal, and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington SLP license required.
  • SLP-CCC credential, with experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Completion of fingerprinting process through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) is required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
