Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license; SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatrics (preferred)
- Familiarity with SLP healthcare practices and regulations
- Competence in developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across K-12 grades
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's educational plan
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations to shape individualized learning goals
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology
