Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lancaster, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license; SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
• Previous experience in school settings or pediatrics (preferred)
• Familiarity with SLP healthcare practices and regulations
• Competence in developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across K-12 grades

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's educational plan
• Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and federal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations to shape individualized learning goals
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology
