Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility
  • CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
  • Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting, ideally at the high school level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to create and implement effective therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
  • Commitment to supporting each student’s academic and personal growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services to high school students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of communication disorders
  • Develop and maintain IEPs, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff for comprehensive student care
  • Participate in meetings and provide professional input as a member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Engage students in motivating, evidence-based therapy activities
