As part of a school-based team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing communication and language skills for pediatric students. In addition to conducting comprehensive evaluations, you’ll be tasked with supervising two motivated SLPAs, providing mentorship and guidance as you collaboratively deliver dynamic speech therapy services.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates are welcomed
  • Prior school-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly valued
  • Experience with evaluations and crafting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Confidence or aptitude in supervising and supporting SLPAs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language and communication assessments for a diverse student population
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy and maintain consistent, constructive communication with students, faculty, and families
  • Supervise and mentor two SLPAs, fostering their growth and ensuring service delivery excellence
  • Document sessions and progress according to school and district standards
