This contract opportunity is based near Lancaster, NY, and runs from July 6 to August 14. Your workday will be from 8:15 AM to 2:15 PM, providing you with a focused schedule dedicated to making a difference during the crucial summer learning period.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid NY state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 settings, is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP-driven therapy sessions
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other professionals
- Comfort with both in-person and virtual learning environments is beneficial
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech/language therapy to students enrolled in the ESY program
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Provide support and feedback to students of diverse backgrounds and needs, helping them build confidence and skills for success
