Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Lancaster, New York

Step into a rewarding role supporting students across K-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. This contract opportunity is based near Lancaster, NY, and runs from July 6 to August 14. Your workday will be from 8:15 AM to 2:15 PM, providing you with a focused schedule dedicated to making a difference during the crucial summer learning period.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid NY state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 settings, is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP-driven therapy sessions
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other professionals
• Comfort with both in-person and virtual learning environments is beneficial

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver speech/language therapy to students enrolled in the ESY program
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Provide support and feedback to students of diverse backgrounds and needs, helping them build confidence and skills for success
