School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lancaster, New York

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Recent experience delivering speech-language services in school settings preferred
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and write detailed reports
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students with communication disorders
• Develop tailored therapy plans to meet students’ educational needs and IEP goals
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement therapy strategies in the classroom
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on progress and service delivery
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and relevant school events
• Provide training and resources for teachers and families to promote best practices in communication support
