Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Lancaster, NY

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid CCC-SLP or ability to obtain it; CFY candidates are welcome and encouraged
• Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric speech therapy
• Proficiency with a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Flexible and supportive approach to working within educational teams
• Knowledge of current best practices in assessment and intervention
• Comfort with case management, documentation, and IEP development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students ages preschool through high school
• Deliver direct speech-language services in one-on-one and group settings
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation of progress and services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with families, teachers, and allied professionals
• Consult and support general education staff to support communication needs within the classroom
• Stay current with continuing education and professional development
