Work with a dynamic team across multiple schools, focusing primarily on elementary (K-6) students, while also supporting intermediate through high school populations. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Pennsylvania Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY eligible)
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, and school-based SLP settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy; up to one remote day per week via Zoom is available
- Previous experience with Medicaid billing, as required for this role
- Comfortable serving a caseload of approximately 35 students per SLP
- Ability to utilize provided technology and IEP system (Sapphire)
- Passion for supporting diverse student needs in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and diagnostics for students K-12 (focus on K-6)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, maintaining compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
- Serve across three elementary schools, with additional assignments in intermediate, middle, high school, and select out-of-district placements
- Participate in meetings and professional development as part of the school schedule
Schedule & Structure:
- School year contract beginning in the 2026-2027 or 2027-2028 academic year
- 35 hours per week, from 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar
- Provided with a laptop and access to all necessary technology
