Apply NowStep into a rewarding contract opportunity as a speech-language pathologist supporting elementary students across multiple school sites near Lancaster, SC. This role runs from late July 2026 through May 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in grades K-5.
As a crucial part of the educational team, you'll provide direct therapy to a small caseload (approximately 40 students), promote communication success in both pull-out and push-in settings, and collaborate with teachers and families to support each student's progress. The schedule is set from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
Successful candidates will bring experience in school-based settings, a strong commitment to student-centered care, and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications & Licensure:
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- South Carolina LLR (Labor, Licensing, and Regulation) licensure for SLP
- Current South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Previous experience working with elementary or school-age populations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students in K-5th grade
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district requirements
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
