Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid educator certification to practice in school settings
  • Previous experience working within K-8 or school-based environments preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adept at designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Passion for helping students achieve their fullest communicative potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-8, adhering to each student’s IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop SOAP notes, and monitor progress for assigned caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive strategies in general and special education classrooms
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding students’ needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state guidelines
