Step into a rewarding contract position providing speech-language services to middle school and freshmen students. This full-time opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and extends through January 19, 2027. Work in a supportive educational environment with a focus on 8th and 9th grade learners, engaging both individuals and groups in speech-language sessions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
  • Previous experience with school-based speech services, ideally with grades 8 and 9
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing IEP caseloads
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team member within multidisciplinary settings
  • Must be available in-person for the full duration and adhere to the 6-day cycle, 7:30am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and small group speech therapy sessions to 8th and 9th grade students at dedicated grade centers
  • Provide case management services for approximately 8-10 students with Speech Only IEPs, collaborating closely with staff and families
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to student goals and needs
  • Continuously document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Offer consultative support and expertise to classroom teachers regarding student communication goals
  • Uphold professional and ethical standards at all times
