Make a difference for students while developing your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment. Three positions are available supporting learners from preschool through 9th grade, with a primary focus on children ages 3 through 5th grade. This contract runs from August 14th through May 28th, with full-time, 37.5-hour workweeks.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Eligibility for relevant state licensure
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Competence working with varied caseloads, preferably with preschool and elementary-age students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
  • Passion for fostering student development and success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in assigned grades, with a predominant emphasis on early childhood through 5th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for a diverse caseload
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized goals
  • Adapt interventions and strategies for students across the developmental spectrum, including those transitioning to 9th grade
  • Maintain compliance with state and district requirements for documentation and reporting
