Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure for Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in new environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Assess and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams
  • Keep accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support school communities during the normal school year (NSY) or through the end-of-school-year period (EOSY) as needed
