Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathology role for the 26/27 school year! We are seeking nine enthusiastic, full-time professionals to collaborate with students and staff in a supportive educational environment located near Lansing, MI. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, with flexible opportunities to work with various age groups according to your interests and expertise.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
- Michigan licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to the school year
- Prior experience in school settings is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for making a positive impact on student growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and assessments for students across selected grade levels (early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school)
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development sessions
- Employ dynamic, engaging therapy strategies to help each student reach their communication goals
