Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working with diverse school-age populations (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech/language development, assessment, and intervention best practices
  • Skilled in writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborative mindset for working closely with teachers, staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Adaptability to address varied student needs and support inclusive learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through high school
  • Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor students’ progress toward goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer guidance and education to teachers and families to support effective strategies within the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate records of services, evaluations, and progress reports in accordance with school requirements
  • Foster an encouraging and supportive environment where all students are empowered to reach their full potential
