Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active SLP licensure in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Confidence working with students who have general speech needs, mild cognitive challenges, or are on the autism spectrum
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers and school staff
  • Desire to make a lasting impact in a supportive education environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students ages pre-K through high school
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work primarily with mild to moderate cases; no severe caseload
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with families and educational teams to support student progress
  • Serve each school site for full days—no mid-day travel required between locations
