Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible Idaho SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also welcome
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized goals and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to optimize student progress
  • Provide engaging therapy sessions that support students’ academic and social development
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and inform teachers and caregivers on communication strategies to reinforce student growth
