Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible Idaho SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations desirable
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized goals and treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to optimize student progress
- Provide engaging therapy sessions that support students’ academic and social development
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and inform teachers and caregivers on communication strategies to reinforce student growth
