Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact across K-12 settings, serving a vibrant student population in need of dedicated in-person services as the current SLP moves toward retirement. You’ll be joining an environment that values hands-on support and collaboration, with open roles available at elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with students, teachers, and families
  • Must be able to provide fully in-person services (no teletherapy or hybrid options)
  • Commitment to supporting students with high needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and create plans of care for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Maintain manageable caseloads (targeted between 50-60 students)
  • Deliver therapy services individually and in group settings based on student needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Document student progress and communicate outcomes effectively
  • Depending on placement, work schedules follow:
    • Elementary: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Middle: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
    • High: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
