What You Bring:

  • Valid FL Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy
  • Knowledge of assessment and intervention best practices for elementary age children
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for working on-site in a school community
  • Willingness to complete prescreen interviews and time-sensitive credentialing
  • Comfort with a single school assignment for the duration of the contract
  • Candidate zip code (for commute consideration)

In This Role, You'll:

  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions
  • Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with school teams
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Consult with teachers and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational environment
  • Remain on-site during the school day to provide consistent, direct support
  • Embrace ongoing communication with your account manager and onsite contacts

This full-time contract position spans the academic year, beginning August 10, 2026 and ending May 28, 2027. You’ll be dedicated to one school campus, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and see your students grow.
