Desired Qualifications:
- Holds appropriate state licensure/certification for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Skilled in providing speech/language therapy within schools or healthcare settings
- Experience or interest in teletherapy and/or clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Comfort working with students of varied ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to design, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and write evaluation reports
- Develop and deliver therapy sessions—either in-person or virtually—to meet students’ IEP goals
- Consult and coordinate strategies with teachers, parents, and school teams
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress updates and recommendations
- Adapt therapy materials to engage a diverse caseload
- For SLPAs: execute therapy plans under certified SLP supervision and contribute to session planning
