Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a vibrant K-6th grade setting near Laurel, DE. This part-time, contract role is set for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning at the end of August and running through the conclusion of the academic year. With a growing caseload and an encouraging, collaborative school environment, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact while working just two days per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current DE SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred; will review SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) with relevant school-based background
  • Experience working with K-6 population is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to a varied and expanding caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions tailored to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive, supportive learning environment for all students
