We’re searching for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to serve a vibrant school community near Laurel, MD. In this contract position, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload of 22 students, helping them reach their communication and academic goals.
Bring your clinical expertise and passion for helping children to an energetic, collaborative school environment. You’ll have the opportunity to design and implement tailored therapy plans, guiding students on their journey to clearer speech and improved language skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Current Maryland SLP license and appropriate certifications (CCC)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience providing speech/language services in a school setting is a plus, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work with students, educators, and families in a collaborative manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload of 22 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and maintain accurate progress documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student needs
- Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and school events
