Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong clinical fellowship candidates are also encouraged
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Comfort with individualized and group therapy, IEP development, and student progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Consult with educators, support staff, and families to promote integrated learning and communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
- Stay current with best practices and participate in relevant professional development
