Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong clinical fellowship candidates are also encouraged
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
  • Comfort with individualized and group therapy, IEP development, and student progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Consult with educators, support staff, and families to promote integrated learning and communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in relevant professional development
