Speech Language Pathologist in Laurel, MD

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity offers immediate openings for skilled SLPs and qualified CFYs in a selection of school settings. The schedule can be customized for full-time work by combining placements, offering flexibility and variety in your workweek.

Assignments are available at Wilde Lake High School (currently four days/week, with plans to become five days), Forest Ridge Elementary (also four days/week and likely to grow to five), and Hammond Middle School (three days/week). Some days may be split across sites, giving you the chance to support a diverse student population while building relationships with faculty and staff throughout the district.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland SLP License required
• CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Ability to work onsite (remote placements unavailable)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation
• Consult with teachers and families to support student progress
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
