Make an impact supporting elementary-aged learners by providing vital speech-language services in a school setting. Two contract openings are available for Speech-Language Pathologists to work with an elementary caseload, offering the opportunity to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff. This rewarding role is based onsite and offers the flexibility to coordinate your own schedule across two local schools.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible SLP license in Kansas
  • CCC-SLP credential preferred, but candidates completing CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) are welcome
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is beneficial
  • Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 65 students
  • Commitment to supporting elementary learners’ communication and language development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and therapy for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members
  • Maintain thorough and timely student records and reports
  • Split time between two school sites, with freedom to organize your own schedule
  • Offer both intervention and evaluation services as needed throughout the school year
