Make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech and language services to young learners in a supportive PreK environment. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for PreK community sites, you will work with a manageable caseload and collaborate with educators and families to support student growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans for a caseload of 10-15 PreK students.
  • Create engaging therapy activities tailored to early childhood developmental needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, aides, and family members to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student assessments, services, and outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
  • Serve as a resource on communication development for early childhood staff and families.
  • Travel between Moody PreK and designated community sites within the local area as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • State licensure and/or required educational certifications for SLP practice in Massachusetts.
  • Experience supporting speech and language development in school, early childhood, or similar settings.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work 15 hours per week during the contract period.
