Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Current, active Massachusetts SLP License
  • Massachusetts DOE educational certifications required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience sought
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
  • Commitment to evidence-based intervention and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure integrated student support
  • Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team collaboration as needed
  • Engage in professional development and ongoing training to remain updated on best practices

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, onsite position (35 hours per week)
  • Contract through June 2027, providing long-term stability
