Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Current, active Massachusetts SLP License
- Massachusetts DOE educational certifications required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience sought
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure integrated student support
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team collaboration as needed
- Engage in professional development and ongoing training to remain updated on best practices
Additional Details:
- Full-time, onsite position (35 hours per week)
