Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure or the ability to obtain prior to start date
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in small groups to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Communicate regularly with teachers, counselors, and families regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and collaborating on team decisions
- Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based speech therapy
