Ideal Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Valid state licensure (Georgia SLP license or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
  • Comfort working with children across K–12
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide direct speech-language therapy for students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document session progress and maintain student records (SLPs do not bill Medicaid)
  • Support parents and teachers with strategies to enhance student communication
  • Participate in meetings, training, and professional growth opportunities
