A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential speech therapy services within a school setting. This role involves travel to various educational sites, supporting students' communication needs through individualized plans and collaborative efforts with educators and families.
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Travel between assigned school locations as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and state licensure.
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Ability to create effective treatment plans and adjust approaches based on student progress.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility with travel and schedule to meet school needs.
