A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students for the new school year in Lawrenceville, VA. This role offers the chance to work directly within a school setting, providing essential speech and language services to children across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document and track student progress through detailed reports
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal setting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in a school environment, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
