Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Lawrenceville, VA

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current, active SLP license (or ability to obtain) for the state
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Previous experience with school-aged children, preferably across a K-12 environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students across multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation of student assessments, treatment, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within the school environment
• Provide resources and training for teachers and caregivers to facilitate carryover strategies
