This role focuses on a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students, including intervention, an ECSE classroom, a self-contained K-4th grade class, and one behavioral support program. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC credentials required
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology; school experience is essential
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly within elementary environments
- Prior exposure to Texas schools highly preferred
- Strong documentation and collaboration abilities
- Capable of adapting to the unique needs of ECSE, self-contained, and behavioral program settings
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants will not be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and consultations for a varied student caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services across settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all compliance requirements
- Apply evidence-based practices tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
