Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Texas and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage students, staff, and families
  • Skilled in assessment, IEP development, and evidence-based intervention
  • Proficiency in digital documentation and case management platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, developing individualized goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support for each student
  • Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district or state policies
  • Provide guidance, resources, and support to teachers and staff regarding communication disorders and strategies for student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
