Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Recent experience providing SLP services in a school setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for empowering students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Ability to adapt approaches to individual learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy to students in group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Document student progress and maintain timely records
  • Provide recommendations and strategies for classroom integration
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
  • Stay current with best practices and educational SLP methodologies
