1st Grade 12th Grade School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Leander, Texas

We are seeking six dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential in-person services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With a retiring SLP transitioning out, you’ll play a vital role in supporting a caseload filled with eager learners who count on your expertise.

Opportunities are available throughout all grade levels (1st-12th), and placements will be determined based on your skills and school needs. The target caseloads are thoughtfully managed, with an aim to maintain 50-60 students per provider, maximizing the quality of care and connection you’ll foster.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid SLP licensure.
• Clinical competency serving diverse K-12 populations.
• Previous experience within a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored in-person therapy to students from elementary to high school (grades 1-12).
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Maintain detailed documentation for each student’s progress and adjustments to therapy plans.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for best practices in student care.

School hours reflect a healthy work-life rhythm:

• Elementary: 7:30 am–4:00 pm
• Middle: 7:45 am–4:00 pm
• High: 8:30 am–4:00 pm
