You’ll play a vital role in helping students with a range of communication needs, including those in Essential (Life Skills) Skills programs. While specific school assignments will be determined closer to placement, all opportunities are within a collaborative district known for its inclusive and forward-thinking approach to student services.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in school settings or pediatric populations highly valued
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for diverse student needs
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement speech and language interventions for K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
- Participate in IEP development and progress monitoring
- Document services and maintain regulatory compliance
- Deliver therapy in-person, with potential for some teletherapy services
- Provide support to students in Essential (Life Skills) Skills classrooms as needed
