Bring your expertise and compassion to empower students throughout Tippecanoe County as a full-time School Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity offers three new positions for the upcoming school year, serving a dynamic population in a supportive educational setting.

You’ll play a vital role in helping students with a range of communication needs, including those in Essential (Life Skills) Skills programs. While specific school assignments will be determined closer to placement, all opportunities are within a collaborative district known for its inclusive and forward-thinking approach to student services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience in school settings or pediatric populations highly valued
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for diverse student needs
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement speech and language interventions for K-12 students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
  • Participate in IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Document services and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Deliver therapy in-person, with potential for some teletherapy services
  • Provide support to students in Essential (Life Skills) Skills classrooms as needed
