As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work a consistent schedule (typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for 37.5 hours per week, supporting a caseload of approximately 70 students. Your role focuses on consultation services—there is no case management, allowing you to concentrate on implementing interventions and supporting educators.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or clinical fellow considered
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Ability to provide effective consultation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to serving diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Consult with teachers and staff to implement strategies supporting student communication needs
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Develop and recommend intervention plans to address speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies
- Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding speech and language development
