Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students with autism for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This full-time contract role runs from now through June 4, 2026, with hours from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM. You’ll play a vital part in fostering communication skills that pave the way for both academic achievement and social growth.

Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will directly impact a caseload of 34 students, collaborating with educators and families to create inclusive, individualized solutions. Your days will blend direct intervention and assessment with behind-the-scenes coordination to ensure students’ evolving needs are met effectively.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure for SLP in Pennsylvania
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with students on the autism spectrum
  • Understanding of IEP process and compliance documentation
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language assessments and interpret results to shape individualized education plans
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support students with communication challenges
  • Partner with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
  • Monitor progress and adjust approaches to align with student growth
  • Maintain detailed records to meet all compliance requirements
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
