This contract position provides the opportunity to case-manage a dedicated group of students and collaborate with an SLP-A and a fellow in-house SLP. The school fosters teamwork and values your expertise as you deliver direct services and help shape positive communication outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Missouri SLP
  • Proven experience in a school environment, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage caseload paperwork efficiently
  • Confidence in supervising and collaborating with SLP assistants

In this role, you will:

  • Case manage 21 students while serving as the primary service provider for a caseload of 76 (including case-managed students), with SLP-A support for direct service delivery
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation in accordance with school and state standards
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ needs
  • Supervise, guide, and collaborate with an onsite SLP-A as part of a supportive therapy team
