Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Missouri SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or qualifying for CFY
- Experience or interest in working within schools, supporting a diverse K–12 student population
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering student growth, engagement, and confidence
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services in group and individual settings
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing expertise for student goals
- Consult with faculty and families to support students’ educational programs
- Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
