Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or qualifying for CFY
  • Experience or interest in working within schools, supporting a diverse K–12 student population
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to fostering student growth, engagement, and confidence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services in group and individual settings
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing expertise for student goals
  • Consult with faculty and families to support students’ educational programs
  • Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
