Step into a rewarding contract role as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school environment. Bring your expertise to Wildwood Elementary and support students from August 10 through the end of the school year. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity, working three days a week for a total of 24 hours.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Holds or eligible for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY).
  • Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children, preferably in an elementary school setting.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Strong organizational skills and a passion for empowering young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
  • Develop and execute IEPs; maintain thorough documentation on student progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language strategies into the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or interventions.
  • Engage families in the therapy process, sharing updates and strategies for home carryover.
