Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Possess a valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida DOH SLP license.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to adapt to caseloads and student needs across various age groups and campuses.
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting requirements in compliance with district and state policies, including facilitating verification if you’ve previously worked within Florida districts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to students at assigned school sites.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student IEPs and evaluated needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to provide strategies for supporting communication abilities in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development as required.
