Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Leicester, North Carolina

You’ll work primarily with pediatric populations, providing direct services in a collaborative educational environment. Compensation for this role is competitive, with rates ranging from $40 to $52 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
• Prior experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings
• Competence in teletherapy preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on-site or via teletherapy
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Offer support and strategies to teachers and caregivers for carryover of skills
• Adapt services to meet a diverse student population’s needs
