You’ll work primarily with pediatric populations, providing direct services in a collaborative educational environment. Compensation for this role is competitive, with rates ranging from $40 to $52 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings
- Competence in teletherapy preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on-site or via teletherapy
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Offer support and strategies to teachers and caregivers for carryover of skills
- Adapt services to meet a diverse student population’s needs
