Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid and current SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Skilled in administering and interpreting a variety of speech/language assessments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and dedicated to student development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide targeted therapy individually or in small groups, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate speech/language strategies into classroom activities
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress, and communication with stakeholders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
  • Stay current with best practices and maintain professional licensure
