Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in pediatrics and/or school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency in working with articulation and language disorders
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Previous experience with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Manage a well-defined caseload of approximately 45-50 students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document student progress
- Provide intervention for students with articulation, language, and AAC needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, family members, and other specialists to ensure holistic care
- Utilize teletherapy as needed to reach students effectively
- Support the school team during an FMLA leave, contributing positively to student outcomes
This contract role offers up to 37.5 hours per week, ensuring consistent interaction with students and staff in a supportive learning environment. You’ll play a vital part in helping youngsters find their voices and experience success both in and out of the classroom.
